Reimagined

What my feelings and thoughts about the internet boil down to is that the internet is simultaneously being influenced by and influencing the user. Everything that the user posts, searches, reads, etc. on the internet, shapes it into what it is currently. In a similar fashion, everything that is available on the internet turns around and shapes the person behind the computer screen every time they interact with it. What I hoped to express was the sense that even when we as the user are “plugged in” to the internet for whatever reasons, whether it’s school, hobbies, work, or fun, the internet is also “plugged in” to us. Everything we see while using the internet affects us just as much as we affect what is available on the internet. In short, what the image above is meant to portray is one simple phrase: the internet and us are connected through the fact that we are each others creators and creations at the same time.
